galah/goffin mix???

Most wild parrots are threatened if not endangered. Something so common in captivity, like the Umbrella and Mollucan cockatoo and Sun conure, are very endangered in the wild. As a side note, I did see a photo of a M2/Triton hybrid, quite pretty. I don't think majority of hybrids are ugly, but honestly think that especially with cockatoos, which each species personality is very different, should not be bred together.

I have experience with the Rose Breasted/Goffins Mix. The one that you saw for sale is probably the one I purchased. This Cockatoo is very unique but too bad the person I purchased the Cockatoo from wasn't! She was a typical BS'er/scammer. She listed the Too as 11 months old but after doing some research (after I got the Too) I learned the bird really is 3 years old with behavioral issues ( the reseller never mentioned her wing and tail feathers are plucked, said they were in great condition and only sent pics of the chest and head) since I found the original ad listing from the people the woman I purchased the Too from. Shame she paid a few hundred dollars including a cage and sold me the Too for 850.00 + 135.00 shipping! Oh, and she said it was a she but the Too really is a He! Is anyone honest anymore?

I'd LOVE to see some pics of your bird!!! And there are tons of threads about every behavioral issues possible - you've certainly come to the right place to start making things better for your parrot.

What are the issues you're having with the 'too? And pleeeeeeeeeeease post some pics of him! I galahs!

I can’t say it really surprises me. These days, you have to watch who, and where, you buy from.

I hope that someone will be able to help you out/give you advice, would love to see a photo of him too.

It is a shame I got 'flipped the bird' by a bird flipper lol.. He really loves his 'real' name.. He gets so excited when you say it to him.. The combination of Goffins/Galah really is beautiful IMO... I was told that there is a breeder in California that specifically breeds them but I don't know if it's true or not?

Awww!!! Looks so much like Pinky, my BE2/galah hybrid. But I can definitely see the G2 in your baby! Pollo means chicken in Spanish. What a cutie Pollito!!!
