Breeding Diamond Doves? - Avian Avenue Parrot Forum & Other Birds Message Board

I don't know if there are any diamond dove breeders here, but I'm hoping someone can help me!

I have a pair, I've put a nest in their cage. The male bow coo's to the female pretty much every day when I let them out to fly around. But the female just does not pay attention to him! She walks away & pecks on the ground.
A breeder did tell me they can be picky about who they mate with. But will they eventually mate?

Is it their environment? They have hiding places, I put in some safe cloth leaves for them to hide in & so they feel a little more hidden.
I can post a picture of their setup & cage if needed.

i would love to see some set up pics but i think they just dont see each other that way... sometimes people have more luck when hey take out the nests and put them in again later

Here is their set-up. Its right before cleaning, so its very messy! They tend to like throwing food around!
I'll try taking it out & then putting it back in, thanks!

looks good and when you put the nest back put it ware they like to go or up high.
