Default White Wing Dove

I feed the wild birds in my back yard daily. They're all fat & spoiled. Anyway, I've been trying to get pictures of the different birds and finally got a decent shot of one of the doves. In the morning, there are so many doves (Morning Doves & White Wing) that sit in the trees waiting for me to feed them.....I love to listen to them "coo" ~

What a great shot of a beautiful bird. I have never seen a White-Winged Dove around here, but we do get the Mourning and I love listening to them. Are the coos of the White-Wing similar?

And now I'll be trying to get "The Edge of Seventeen" out of my head

what a beauty!! we usually only have the mourning doves here - they eat the cracked oats and corn that we put out for the chickens

The seed I put out for the wild birds have corn in it. There are so many doves that I have to put seed on my patio besides the feeders. My cats (indoor) love to watch the birds in the morning. Plus there are a few squirrels that play up & around the tree which they love to watch ~
