I think they forgot the rule that, if The parrot merely touches something, even a little, it belongs to him, it, no matter if it's custom made expensive drapes or something rare and expensive.

And

Any toy that The bird did not like looks a lot more interesting if another bird plays with it.

And

The closer it is to the time when you must remove something from the oven, the loud and more insistent the screaming will get, trapping you in the kitchen, unable to escape the ear shattering noise, driving you to the point of insanity.
