Aesthetically, what bird is the most beautiful?

This is one hard question to snswer! There are so many birds out in nature that are beyond beautiful! Many birds in nature are breath taking!

I think each and everyone is beautiful! I think the Hawk Headed Parrot is spectacular looking and I just love looking at Chester a lot!

If I were asked what is the most beautiful species in the world I would probably say a cockatoo or macaw. Generally I find those to be the most striking. Cockatoos have very soft eyes and macs, especially the scarlet and hyacinth, have stunning colors.

Birds of prey like bald eagles or an owl are pretty awesome. They rule the air.

Very true...I was thinking just about parrots. Gouldian finches are beautiful as well.

They are not rare or mysterious, but I've always thought the Blue and Gold macaw was just about the most beautiful thing going. Just think how they would appear if you'd never seen one before; think how valuable they'd be if they were rare Same for Scarlets and GWs. To me, there's just something extraordinary about macaws. You know, my uncle used to have pheasants, and there are a lot of wood ducks around here, and yes, I think they're pretty. But, Elvis puts them to shame

I agree. I've always thought that B&G's epitomize the term "exotic bird". Most people, when you mention parrots, they usually ask if you have one of those "huge yellow and blue birds". B&G's are one of the most stunning birds. (in my opinion) But I also love the looks of various conure species- Goldens' and Suns in particular.

Black capped chickadee
Hummingbirds of any kind, but I love the purple


While peafowl have very strange body types, the male's feathers are beautiful
