The most beautiful besides my green boys......
The Golden Chinese Pheasant-these made an impression on me the first time I saw one in Florida.

Red Tailed Hawk, I watch these every morning on my 1 hour drive home after a long shift. They are so beautiful to watch.

Of course I agree on the Hawkheaded Parrot.
I have also always loved the Major Mitchell's, though they do not make good companion birds.

Hyacinths, when they are just barely wet, they are slightly green. It's spectacular!!
Gotta give it to the scarlet macs too, they are just awesome

Other than my Kiwi, I would have to say a keel billed toucan. Their black feathers look like velvet and the coloring of the bill is stunning.

They are not rare or mysterious, but I've always thought the Blue and Gold macaw was just about the most beautiful thing going. Just think how they would appear if you'd never seen one before; think how valuable they'd be if they were rare
Same for Scarlets and GWs. To me, there's just something extraordinary about macaws. You know, my uncle used to have pheasants, and there are a lot of wood ducks around here, and yes, I think they're pretty. But, Elvis puts them to shame

But seriously, I think sun conures are absolutely stunning. They are like a flying rainbow. Archie my gold cap is gorgeous too, the colors are so vibrant!

Totally in agreement with hawkheads and Major Mitchells Toos. There is something about crested birds that always gets me And raptors, as I love how fierce and bold they look. Birds are all spectacular and its amazing the variety of shapes sizes and colors you can find them in. Simply amazing creatures.
